Each year, RAG supports two charities via their student-led fundraising events. These events help to raise money for the Top Two, with a small allocation going to the Small Charity Grant and to RAG's operating costs. 

RAG's Top Two 2024/25

Voices

VOICES works together with people who have been affected by domestic abuse, whether in the past or more recently, to prevent harm and promote recovery. They aim to help families to recover and thrive. They do this through individual support and advocacy, and a suite of group recovery programmes.

 
Great Western Air Ambulance Charity

Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC) provide emergency care to people who are in a state so critical that they require the specialist skills of their team at the scene of the accident or medical incident. Though GWAAC are part of the regional 999 response service and work closely with NHS hospitals, they are a charity entirely funded by local people just like you.

RAG's Top Two applications for 2025/26 will open in February 2025

From the 2024/25 academic year, RAG have decided to change the Big 4 to the Top Two so that their fundraising can have a greater impact on charitable projects.

If you are a UK-registered charity and would like to considered as one of RAG's Top Two charities, then please have a look at our Application Guidelines. Applications will open in February 2025 in which there will be a link on this page to apply - please check back then.

Please note: if you are one of this year's Top Two you cannot apply again next year, you must wait until the following academic year.

RAG's Top Two will receive funds raised for them between 1st August 2024 and 31st July 2025. Fundraising events by RAG may occasionally raise money for another charity, this will be clearly communicated if this is the case.
