Bath University Politics Society is the society for any student with a keen interest in politics. The core of our membership is drawn from students on politics courses, although we're keen to expand our membership and attract more students so don’t be shy! Our aim is to promote political discussion and engagement from all students, while meeting some fun new people along the way.

Socials: We organise social events and nights out in Bath roughly every fortnight so you can get to know more people on your course easily, or just make new friends with the same interests as you! These events include pub crawls, quizzes, coffee socials and revision sessions to name a few!
External Speaker Events: We also host interesting speakers to give talks to engage students on a variety of topics. In the past we have organised talks with former Minister Vince Cable, former Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg and Jacob Rees-Mogg. Please join the society if you think you would be interested in hearing these sorts of talks!
ISB Trip: In the past this society has done trips during the inter-Semester break but not for a number of years. The society has gone to Brussels, Prague, Berlin and Budapest before. We may try to bring it back if there is enough demand for it.

Our first social of the year!
Join us and others on Saturday October 5th at the SU 8pm for a pub crawl spanning the best pubs in Bath. We'll be stopping at the Cork, the Westgate and ending at the Cannon. This is the perfect opportunity for both new and old faces to socialise and with a little luck create some lasting friendships.
Remember everybody is welcome to join at poltics society no matter their course or party. Hope to see you all there!
