Doctoral Exec


Exec Committees consist of the lead representatives for a specific area or group of students.

Your Doctoral Exec is made up of elected doctoral students who represent doctoral students at a faculty/school and university level. They are extremely influential in bringing about change in the academic environment and are super committed to ensuring the best for all students in their faculty/school.

The committee consists of:

  • Postgraduate Officer (chair)
  • Engineering & Design Faculty Rep - Doctoral
  • Humanities & Social Sciences Faculty Rep - Doctoral
  • Science Faculty Rep - Doctoral
  • Management Faculty Rep - Doctoral

Role Descriptions

Terms of Reference

  1. To provide the main formal venue for the Doctoral Reps to provide feedback on their experience as a Rep and in resolving matters about their course.
  2. To provide Doctoral Reps with outcomes of the feedback provided by their Faculty Rep and what enhancements are being made as a result of their feedback.
  3. To provide a venue for Rep consultation on the development of policies, procedures, and proposals being discussed in meetings such as FDSC and Doctoral Board of Studies.

Membership

Routine attendees include:

  • Student Voice Assistant
  • Student Voice Coordinator (Postgraduate Representation)
  • Education Manager


Frequency

Education Execs will happen at least 4 times a year, with each Exec meeting separately.
