What We Do
University of Bath Water Polo welcomes all to come and join for the 23/24 season. We offer something for everyone!
We have 5 training sessions per week open to everyone, including a swimming session and a land training session. We cater for players of all abilities, from complete beginners to national league players. If you want to play competitively, we have 2 men's and a women's team. The Men’s first team play in the BUCS South Premier League - the highest level of university water polo. In the last two seasons our men's team came second and third overall. Our Women’s team are competing in the BUCS Midlands Tier 1 league, looking to work there way back into the Prem South. Our Men’s second team compete in the BUCS Western Tier 1 league (One of the best performing second team in the country). Matches are usually played weekly and transport to away games is provided.
If you are on the fence about joining water polo, come down and give it a try. We have a lot of social members that come to training sessions to stay active and socialise.

Social Events
Throughout the year, water polo socials will run most Wednesdays. We have some great socials planned, so make sure not to miss out! There will also be additional events throughout the year such as Varsity, Christmas Ball, Tour, EoSM and friendly games against other Universities. By being not such a massive sports club allows you to get to know almost everyone in the club and make some great friends. We also welcome social members to join the club. No training, just socials. Living the dream really.
Tour
We have an annual tour in Europe in places such as Spain, Croatia and Italy where we play water polo, party and soak in the sun on the beach!
For the past few years, we have also gone on mini tours in the UK. Tour-quay is a classic at this point and we play a few local league games. We also competed in the Lyme splash tournament last summer and are looking at going again next year!!!
