Indoor Volleyball

At the University of Bath Volleyball Club, we're proud to support seven outstanding performance teams! Our lineup includes the Women's First (W1), Second (W2), and Third (W3) teams, as well as the Men's First (M1), Second (M2), Third (M3), and Fourth (M4) teams. Both of our First Teams compete in the highly competitive Western League of BUCS, the UK University competition. Our M1s, M2s, and W2s showcase their talents in the Southwest Volleyball League, while our W3s, M3s, and M4s make their mark in the local Bristol League. We're committed to excellence, offering regular team training, position-specific sessions, and strength and conditioning programs with our fantastic, hard-working coaches. And of course, every year, we eagerly look forward to the thrill of competing in Varsity against Cardiff Met.

Women's 1st Team

Coached by the outstanding team of Head Coach Jisoo Kim, Pop Sujarirat, Veikka Korhonen, and Tim Riekeles, and led by the powerhouse co-captains Helin Ozer and Alice Zundo, the Women's 1st team had an incredible season, securing an impressive 3rd place in their Western 1A League! But that's not all—they also delivered a phenomenal performance at the annual Student Cup, achieving massive wins against some of the best volleyball teams in the country. We're bursting with pride over their remarkable accomplishments and their ability to compete at such an elite level!

Women's 2nd Team

The Women's 2nd team, coached by Akash Chopra and Martyna Binek, and led by captain Alisa Fridman, just wrapped up one of their best seasons ever! Our incredible W2s clinched an impressive 2nd place in the competitive Bristol League Women’s Division 1! Over the past few years, they've been steadily climbing the league table, and now, the excitement is at an all-time high as they gear up for an exhilarating new chapter in the Southwest Volleyball League. We can't wait to see what they achieve next!

The W3s, under the guidance of coaches Wee Li Khor and Ana Laura Tonidandel, and led by the determined captains Enerel Bold-Erdene and Catarina Nazi, gave it their all this year! We couldn’t be prouder of our W3s and their amazing achievement! :)

Men's 1st Team

Coached by Samira Moodie and co-captained by Head Coach Jisoo Kim and Jamie Higgins, the Men’s First team had an unforgettable 2023/24 season, emerging as the Champions of the Men’s Southwest League—an impressive feat, especially for their first time competing in this league! They also secured a strong 2nd place finish in the Western BUCS Division 2A, just missing out on promotion.
