Submitting a Standpoint proposal


Submitting a Standpoint proposal/Statement of Interest is a quick and easy process:

  1. Any student at the University of Bath can submit a Statement of Interest. You can do this at any time but there is a cut off three weeks prior to the meeting date for consideration at the next meeting.
  2. Download and complete the proposal form.
  3. Email the completed form to su-voice@bath.ac.uk along with any supporting documents you wish to send.
  4. Work with SUmmit members, and SU Officers to implement the new SU Standpoint if adopted.

Deadlines for Statement of Interest submission

You can submit a Statement of Interest at any time however it is less than 3 weeks before a SUmmit meeting it will not be considered for inclusion until a future meeting. We need Statement of Interests no later than 3 weeks ahead of meetings of SUmmit so that the members can decide which will go to the next meeting, briefings can be prepared, and SUmmit members can prepare for the discussion in meeting. Please see below the list of SUmmit meetings this year (and the proposal deadline for each meeting).

  • Meeting 1: TBC, Deadline: TBC
  • Meeting 2: TBC, Deadline: TBC
  • Meeting 3: TBC, Deadline: TBC
