Training Sessions
All of our sessions take place in the Sports Training Village (STV) Dojo and they are scheduled throughout the week. You can go to any of the sessions regardless of experience although some sessions may be more challenging than others. There is always a relaxed atmosphere and we try to make everyone feel comfortable - everyone is welcome to all sessions, beginners and advanced!
At the start of term we will have taster sessions where you can try out the sessions. If you have your own dobok or martial arts uniform, feel free to wear it, otherwise just come in loose and comfortable clothing. You will be able to purchase your own uniform through the club within a few weeks of the start of semester. We also recommend that you bring a bottle of water.
Once you're a member you can attend all the sessions you want, you won't have to go to all the sessions but there are some sessions you will have to go to if you want to grade up the belts. If you are looking to compete, you will be expected to regularly attend the Friday or Saturday sessions. We also host guest coaches to run technical patterns or sparring seminars.
If you have any concerns, check our frequently asked questions page. If you can't find an answer there, feel free to send a message to the club email address or contact the club via Facebook or Instagram.
