Wargaming
Weekly Wargaming: Saturdays, 10am to 6pm in 8W 2.8
Wargames are strategy games which involve commanding an army of troops to take advantage of battlefield terrain and the strengths of your faction, be they historical, sci-fi, or fantasy. If there’s something we don't play just bring it along to show as we do like to adopt new games and systems. Some of the most common games played in the society are Warhammer 40k, Warhammer (Age of Sigmar), Star Wars legion and Middle-Earth SBG, though we're always willing to learn new games that are brought in.
We run wargaming sessions every week and we chat on the wargaming section of the tabletop Discord. At the end of both semesters we usually hold some form of large in house event, typically 40k Apocalypse, although we've also run 1 day campaigns in other systems. If you have any ideas for events or campaigns to run during the semester, we can discuss these with the other members and potentially run them.
