CLASSES 

In our classes you will have the opportunity to expand and build on your dance skills, with short routines choreographed by our committee members on Tuesdays and professional teacher on Saturdays. It's a great chance to ask questions and learn new moves (to later use in social dancing)!

NO PARTNER REQUIRED - we rotate partners throughout the class, making it easy to meet everyone!

  • Casual Salsa or Bachata Lesson + Social Dancing: Tuesdays, 7:15pm @ Edge Level 1 Foyer

Our Tuesday sessions are a brilliant way to learn Salsa and Bachata in a chilled and friendly environment! These sessions have a committee-taught lesson and are beginner friendly as difficulty will increase as the year goes on, allowing you to gain a foundation and build on it throughout the year. No Salsa Socoiety session would be complete without social dancing! The lesson is followed by an hour of social dancing, which is a perfect opportunity to show your new moves and meet other members of the society. These sessions are free to members.

  • Professional Lesson + Social Dancing: Saturdays, 1.00pm @ Edge Dance Studio. 

​On Saturdays, we will switch between Salsa and Bachata each week, giving you a chance to focus on one style. There will be classes for both beginners and intermediates, followed by social dancing where you can practise your new moves! These lessons are taught by our very own professional teacher Brett. It is £3 per class for members, £6 per class for non-members.

  • SALSA-AT-LOCA: Every Other Thursday, 8.00pm @ Revolution.

Join us for an incredible evening of dance and fun! We kick off with an hour of committee-taught Salsa or Bachata (styles alternate weekly), followed by an hour of social dancing where you can showcase your moves. Then, the night heats up as we head to Loca at Revolution to dance until late! For just £4 (or £5 At-the-Door), you get the full package - dance lesson, social practice, and a night out at Revs. Whether you're a beginner or looking to expand your dance repertoire, our welcoming atmosphere is perfect for everyone.
