About us

Witamy! Welcome to the Polish Society!

Our society brings together Poles, people with some Polish heritage, and people who are simply interested in our culture. You do not have to be able to speak polish to join! (not even some of our committee can speak it!)

This year we hope to make this society better than ever. It will be the source of many exciting social events and celebrations that we know and love. We want to become a community where you can meet new people, share interests, and have a good time. We also hope to collaborate with other Bath soceities and Polish soceities across the UK!

Once you've bought your Societies Area Membership from the SU, you can join us for free! We want as many members as possible so we don't want to keep you away from us through a paywall.

We invite you to join us and look forward to meeting you!

Reasons to join us

Us Poles love to have fun. We love a good domówka (house party) or a night out for drinks. It is a great place to join if you are looking to meet friends.

MOST IF NOT ALL ANNOUNCEMENTS WILL BE COMMUNICATED THROUGH INSTAGRAM 

Once you get your free membership, an 'Events' page will appear, on which you will be able to find a link to our whatsapp groupchat (click "Join our new WhatsApp group chat for 2024/25!", and then click "Find out more about this event", and then you will be directed to the join link - please get in touch via email or through instagram if you have any issues). It's the best way to keep in touch with the community.
