Congratulations to URB and CampusTV for winning multiple awards at the National Student Television Awards and Student Radio Awards!
Huge congratulations to University Radio Bath and CampusTV from our Student Media Group, for winning multiple awards at the National Student Radio Association’s Amplify Awards and the 51st National Student Television Association Awards.
The Amplify Awards supported by Global are judged according to the values of student radio which focuses on creativity, innovation, diversity building a community, and more. URB was shortlisted for an incredible 13 awards and took home 3 Awards, a fantastic achievement. URB won Silver for Team of the Year for the URB Sports Team, Bronze in Fundraising Initiative for the 50-hour Charity Show for OpenUp Music, and Bronze in Outstanding Contribution for station manager Lucy Parker.
Following on from the success of the Amplify Awards, The National Student Television Association Awards NaSTA51 took place over 3 days in Manchester, with the awards night held on Saturday 6 April. CampusTV had an amazing evening, gaining Gold in Documentary & Factual and Drama, Silver in Post-Production and Writing, and Bronze in Dramatic Performance for Benjamin Chang. Watch the Awards
CampusTV has been active all over campus this year, live streaming events for our sports clubs, societies, and large SU events.
