University of Bath Easter break - Saturday 27 March to Sunday 11 April inclusive
Easter break is coming up, and while it still won’t be a ‘normal’ Easter for most of us there are still plenty of things you can do with your time off. With lockdown restrictions gradually lifting, as of 8 March you are allowed to spend time in outdoor public spaces for recreation on your own, with your household or support bubble. This means you can also enjoy the (hopefully) warmer weather and have a socially distanced picnic. So why not make the most of the brighter weather and some extra time to yourself. We’ve compiled a few ideas for some perfect moments of wellbeing and discovery:
Walk
Ride
The Bath Two Tunnels circuit is an easy, circular route. On it you’ll see the UK’s longest cycling and walking tunnel, the spectacular Tucking Mill Viaduct, as well as lush forest and beautiful valley views.

Or you could hire an electric scooter and have fun travelling around the city! Hop-on hop-off e-scooters are available central Bath. E-scooters are unlocked for £1 and cost 20p per minute to ride. Riders can download the Voi app for free in the Apple App Store or Google Play. E-scooter trial - Travelwest

Eat
You may not be able to sit in a café or restaurant at the moment, but you can still get takeaway coffee & cakes, or even a meal. Here are some of our favourite foodie tips:
Why not find some recipe inspiration and have a go at making your own picnic hamper instead of reaching for the standard supermarket meal deal.
And much more!
Don’t forget to check out What’s On at The SU, where we have a whole host of workouts, workshops, coffee breaks, and other events on offer.
Make sure you’re aware of the current lockdown rules when going outdoors. The SU will be closed from Friday 2 April until we are back on Wednesday 7 April, however, if you need urgent support you can contact Student Services’ Be Well Talk Now service which is available 24/7.
