Bath Entrepreneurs are here to tell you all about their exciting event, Launchpad 2022.
Are you looking to develop your entrepreneurial skills? Interested in launching your own business but not too sure how to get started? Look no further, we've got you covered.
We're ecstatic to bring Launchpad 2022 back in person, and it'll take place between March 26, 10:00 - March 27, 10:00.
This year's theme for Launchpad is "Around the World" as we would like to encourage students to reimagine what they think the future would look like as communities around the world begin to re-open. Students will work in teams of 5-6 to ideate and transform their innovative ideas into a concrete business plan. At the end of the event, students will deliver a short 5 minute pitch of their business plan followed by 2 minutes of questions in front of a panel of judges to compete for various prizes.
This year we have invited a variety of speakers and judges from the School of Management along with founders who have established their own businesses, most notably Sian Gabbidon who is the 2018 winner of The Apprentice and founder of Sian Marie, will be a speaker for our investor pitching workshop.
Launchpad is an excellent opportunity for students to develop their entrepreneurial mindset and form new relationships with other students who share similar interests; it is an event that coalesces students from a variety of academic disciplines to share their unique experiences as well as perspectives.
Did we mention food will be covered? That's right, we'll be providing breakfast, lunch, dinner and small refreshments throughout Launchpad. You don't need to have a business idea or have to be studying business to attend; Launchpad is designed for everyone regardless of your academic background.
