What We Do

Welcome to Mahjong society! MJSoc here at Bath aims to celebrate the historical Chinese game by creating opportunities to learn, play, and in the process, connect and form meaningful experiences regardless of skill level, race, or heritage.

We have activities ranging from beginner/casual sessions to more exciting and dynamic competitive tournaments, allowing everyone to participate and socialise in the setting they feel most comfortable in!

Tournament (Semester 1)

Date & time: Wed 23 Oct - Fri 13 Dec 2024

Places available: Unlimited

Our semester-long tournament will be held until the Christmas holiday.

Tournament entry is FREE and players of all skill levels are welcome to enter. We will reserve you a seat every session (awaiting the purchase of more sets!). (For casual players or beginners, we will try and keep an extra table open.)

These games will be scored and your overall score will determine your rank in the tournament. Specific details with regards to scoring will be announced soon.
