What We Do

The Minority Ethnic Mechanical Engineers Society (M.E.M.E.S) is one of the few societies to represent minority ethnic groups within the Faculty of Engineering and Design at The University of Bath. We are focused on spreading awareness, sharing experiences and engaging as many people as we can, to the oppurtunites that lie in the field. Countless research continues to suggest that minority ethnic groups still form a small percentage of individuals within the engineering industry.

Why Join Us?

Joining M.E.M.E.S paves the way for growth and development for enthusiatic engineers in an ambitious and supportive environment. Through guest speakers, networking events, and enriching presentations, we aim to make the educational aspect of our society entertaining and memorable for all who join. Whether you want to make new friends, discover your career potential or gain industry insights, your engagement with M.E.M.E.S will be beneficial. Make your university experience more meaningful with us!
