House owner in Limpley Stoke requires garden hand for 4 hours per week (4 hour session to be taken as one session per week). £12.50 per hour by bank transfer. Very variable tasks in a very large and sloping wooded garden.
Tasks to include (but not exclusively): Grass cutting, strimming, leaf raking, high hedge trimming, planting, clearing, stacking, sweeping, some weeding, chopping, jet washing, cutting, forking and digging together with general random requirements.
Some tasks may be building related within the garden itself, assisting or supervised by the house owner. Applicants need to be very physically adept, willing to work occasionally on a ladder, have sufficient horticultural understanding to tell a weed from a plant, able to use powered garden equipment (supplied by owner as necessary ), and may need to work in wet and/or cold weather. All work will be outside and generally you will be working alone.
The property lies close to the D1 bus route from Bath bus station (about 20 min journey roughly every hour).
