Activities Organiser (2 positions)

Cholwell House Nursing Home are looking for an ideal candidate to initiate and co-ordinate diversional therapy to promote a mentally and physically active lifestyle for the individuals living with Dementia. You would need to create and maintain a fun activities programme that will maintain interest and progress over a period of time whilst applying the ethos of person-centred care.

You will need to endeavour to meet the holistic needs of both the residents as a group, and individually.

You will need to cultivate external links through community involvement and monitor activity to ensure it meets the needs of the residents whilst complying with with company policies and procedures.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties of your responsibilities and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
