Squad Coaching

Members of the BUCS league teams are entitled to coaching from Russell Covey Performance Specialist Award Winning PGA Specialist 

Coaching consists of 1-2 hours with Russell in two smaller groups every week (days training happen on may change) 

During the coaching there is access to 1-to-1 lessons, Trackman, driving range, short game area and training out on the golf course - weather permitting.

All of this is included in the BUCS membership - amazing value for money as an individual lesson is £80/hour

Brief History On Russell

Russell has successfully coached clients  to win the Spanish, French, Dutch, Scottish, English Amateur Championships and St Andrews Links Trophy

Walker Cup Participation

Individual Tournament victories include: Tillman Trophy, South East Links, Faldo Series, R&A Open Qualifying, Hampshire Salver, Berkhampsted, Midland Amateur, North of England Youths, Prince of Wales 

South West Individual Champions Mens, Boys and Girls

South West Matchplay Champion x2, Numerous County Championships (in multiple counties) at all levels  (Mens, Women's, Boys and Girls)

Majors; Alistair Balcombe played in the Open at St Andrews in 2015

Team Titles Regional Champions (Matchplay) x4 Regional Champions (strokeplay) x3 (Somerset Golf Union)

Newly awarded in 2021 PGA Specialist Professional & PGA Specialist Coach
