Resources & Reporting
Below is a list of resources you may find useful during your time at university. If you have any issues, you're also able to contact a member of Canoe committee who will help you any way they can.
Reporting
If you wish to report an incident, the university offers an anonymous tool called Report and Support but you can also come to talk to any member of the committee who will immediately take the required action. Canoe club has a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, harassment or assault, and any member found committing such offences will be reported.
Be the Change
The university has launched Be the Change which offers advice on dealing with harassment and supporting those who have gone through it. The hyperlink above has a range of training available so you can help make the university safe and welcoming for everyone.
Student Support
Student Support offer a range of support for students, including support with your health, a disability, financial issues, assault/harassment and general wellbeing. They can help you get access to counselling or a DAP (disability action plan) and are generally a fantastic resource if you're struggling in any way.

Nightline
Nightline is a student-run, confidential service. They are non-judgemental and are happy to just listen to whatever you want to talk about. They're on shift from 8pm to 8am every night during term time, and you can call them on the number on the back of your library card or use their anonymous online chat.
The Bridge
The Bridge offers help after rape and sexual assault. They offer help no matter what. Whether or not you want to report the incident to the police, they are there to help with a number of specially trained crisis workers on hand at all times (24/7).
