Led by professional dance teacher Georgia Delve, our dance classes are open to all students of all abilities. Classes will take place in the Dance Studio at the Edge, located on the 3rd floor.
Georgia completed 3 years of professional ballet training, alongside dancing roles in various full length classical ballet productions. Georgia then danced abroad with Disney for 3 years, before returning to the UK. She has since been busy
performing on stage and screen in the UK. She is a guest teacher for 3rd Stage Dance Company, and teaches adult workshops in many dance styles, from street to showgirl, all over the South West. In the past, Georgia has taught for various local dance schools, choreographing for shows and exams, and is now looking forward to working with students from the University of Bath.

Semester 1 Dance Classes - Full Courses:
Mondays - Musical Theatre Jazz - 20:00-21:00
5 weeks: 11 November - 9 December
Musical Theatre Jazz will begin with a short warm up, followed by some technical exercises to get the dancers moving, then move onto learning some dance repertoire from musicals. Think Chicago, High School Musical, or A Chorus Line, we will learn some contrasting musical theatre numbers.
These classes are aimed at dancers with some experience of any dance style, a great class to join to try something new. All repertoire will be repeated and added to each week to build up to a whole routine.
Tuesdays - Intermediate Ballet 19:00-20:30 + Optional Pointe - 20:30-21:00
10 weeks: 7 October - 9 December)
Intermediate Ballet lessons are no longer on sale.
By signing up to this class, you automatically gain a place in the Pointe class that follows from 20:30 - 21:00.
This is an optional class, if you do not wish to take part in the Pointe class then please let your dance tutor, Georgia, know during your first session.

Mondays - Lyrical Jazz - 20:00-21:00
5 weeks: 7 October - 4 November
Lyrical Jazz lessons are no longer on sale.
Lyrical Jazz will focus on a flowing and dynamic style of Jazz which reflects the words and story telling in dance. These classes will begin with a short warm up, a couple of across the floor exercises to focus on technique and co-ordination, and then working on a routine.
Suitable for dancers with some experience in a dance style (doesn't have to be jazz). If you have done Ballet, Contemporary or Modern, this class will be a fun, freeing way to expand on those dance forms.
Our semester 1 classes will run weekly from w/c 7 October 2024 up to and inclusive of w/c 9 December 2024:
