Lessons With Amanda:

Lessons are still on sale for Amanda, but are now available for £210 for a 7-week block, starting week commencing October 21st 2024.

The available slots are:

We are trying to keep Amanda's slots as close together as possible to ensure they are able to work consecutive hours without large gaps in between, so we will discuss with you which lessons are the most suitable.

About Amanda:

Amanda offers lessons up to diploma level in: saxophone and clarinet; up to grade 7 in the flute and up to grade 5 in brass instruments.

Amanda started her musical journey in primary school and continued learning throughout secondary school. She pursued music and education at Bath Spa University, and began teaching privately. She learnt that this was where her heart was and it inspired her to share her love of the saxophone and clarinet.  In 2004 she started to work as a peripatetic music teacher for The Music for Schools Foundation where she taught up-to 90 students a week. She put over 300 pupils in for ABRSM and Trinity exams from grade 1 to 8 including the trinity jazz syllabus with a 100% success rate. She has played in the Terry Hill Big Band for 30 years and has ran her own clarinet and saxophone choirs in addition to co running a community concert band.

Amanda teaches Fridays.
